The Baltimore Police Athletic League is a non profit, after school program that works with inner city Baltimore youth ages 7-17 to help build character, improve academic performance, expose youth to artistic and cultural activities and recreational programs. There are 26 PAL Centers citywide in all nine police districts.

- Young Parents and Families -
The Teen Parent and Young Families program helps to develop a collaborative network of community-based services to assist adolescents and young parents. The services, including family advocacy and support, crisis intervention, case management, emergency response, short-term counseling, and intensive family preservation services, are designed to help disadvantaged, single teen parents cope with the myriad problems that confront them, and avoid out-of-home placement for their children.

At the center, children and parents can benefit from a variety of services and activities including case-management services, after-school programs, workshops, a fatherhood program, a male mentor program, support groups, a computer lab, and other educational and recreational activities.
