Maryland Community Resource Center / HERO Resource Center
Day care for people living with HIV/AIDS. Provides lunch (hot meal), groceries to take home, clothing, and a dinner (take-home), choice of various support groups, socialization (lounge open 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), employment opportunities through an employment stipend program, laundry and shower facilities, voice mail so that clients may keep in touch with doctors and potential employers, networking among clients and other agencies and referrals to other services in the city. Also provides free legal and housing services to HIV+ people.

You Are Never Alone (YANA)
Provides food, clothing, prescription co-payments, transportation money, and a place to sleep during the day; specifically for homeless women engaged in prostitution. Other services include advocacy, case management, outreach programs and potentially counseling in lieu of jail time for prostitution-related charges. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm / Thursday 11:30 am – 6 pm.
