Helps uninsured people and their families find basic eye care free of charge, throughout the US. Children and adults are matched with a volunteer doctor of optometry who will provide an eye exam at no charge. Eyewear also may be provided for a small fee. The hotline is for women who are uninsured, women who have government health insurance (Medicaid, Caresource, Molina, Healthy Start) or women who are insured but have limited resources. Planned Parenthood
Clinics are located throughout Ohio and offer pregnancy services, birth control, emergency contraception, HIV and STD testing, and men’s and women’s health services. In Columbus, there are 3 locations. The Franklinton Health Center on West Broad Street has walk-in hours on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. for teens 19 and under. Free anonymous HIV testing is available during the walk-in hours on the 4th Wednesday of the month. The clinics see patients Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Franklin County Board of Health Immunization Clinics
Offers immunizations clinics throughout Columbus where children and adults can get their vaccinations. Required immunizations are available for a $10 administration fee per shot for children ages one month to 18 years of age. In addition, there is a $15 fee that will be charged at each visit.
