Kathy Weiman Shelter for Abused Women
A 50 bed domestic violence program for abused women and their children. Provides: A safe and confidential living enviroment staffed 24 hours per day; crisis intervention/hotline referral services; comprehensive assessment of needs; case management including safetly planning, goal setting and educational groups; medical, legal, educational, vocational and social service advocacy; health evaluations and referralsl; mental health services including individual, group and family therapy; and follow up services.

Legal Advocates for Abused Women
LAAW provides crisis intervention and support, legal information and advocacy, safety planning, and legal and social service referrals for victims of abuse (primarily low income women and their children) who have been battered, stalked or harassed. In addition, LAAW specializes in providing free legal representation at Order of Protection hearings for low income victims of abuse. LAAW serves St. Louis City and the Counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Warren, and Washington.
