Replacement Glasses
Step 1:
Determine where child obtained glasses and whether eye exam was recent, either from the family or through MC+ plan.
Step 2a:
Contact Optometry office where exam took place and glasses were prescribed and request that they contact the specific MC+ plan and request “authorization for replacement glasses.”
Step 2b:
If the last eye exam was a year or more old, the child will need a new exam.
OR
If parent does not remember what plan their child is in or what optometry office they went to, use the following information:

Provides ducation for caregivers of children with allergies and asthma.
"Project Concern" is a comprehensive asthma management program that provides life-saving medications, equipment, education and support to children with asthma from birth to 21, in lower income families not covered by insurance or government programs.

American Lung Association
Programs include an asthma educator course, early childhood asthma education, a school-based education program and "Camp Superkids!" - a week-long medically supervised camp for kids with asthma.

St Louis Asthma Consortium
The mission of the St. Louis Regional Asthma Consortium is to close the gap that exists between people affected by asthma and the knowledge and services that will help them.
Website includes helpful links for physicians and schools, an asthma education powerpoint presentation, list of asthma friendly pharmacies, and a detailed report on asthma statistics in St Louis.

During summer months (or any other time):
St. Louis Children’s Hospital will perform audiologicals on children with Healthcare USA , straight Medicaid or private insurance coverage. You may schedule an appointment by calling 314.454.6171.
Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital will perform audiologicals on children. They accept straight Medicaid, HealthCare USA, MercyCare Plus or Harmony Health as well as private insurance. You may schedule an appointment by calling 314.577.5671.
