The Division of Family Services investigates reports of child abuse, neglect and dependency. If an investigation determines that protective services are needed, the Division provides home-based assistance such as counseling, family preservation services, parent aides, transportation and shelter care. When in-home services are not sufficient to ensure child safety, the Division provides placement in a stable alternative setting. When children cannot be reuinted with their families, the Division places children into adoptive families.

Cribs for Kids® currently has 250 Partner Programs in 42 states throughout the country which provide a GRACO Pack N Play® crib and educational materials regarding 'safe sleeping' and other important safety tips to protect your baby. Since 1998, through the donation of thousands of cribs, Cribs for Kids® has been making an impact on the rates of babies dying of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and accidental suffocation.
