The CDU specializes in assessing a child’s delays developmentally, behaviorally or emotionally; developmental disorders; genetic disorders; or long-term consequences of medical conditions. This assessment leads to referrals for appropriate services and recommendations for building on a child’s strengths and for helping him or her in problem areas. This is assessment is done through a team based approach. Other services include Down’s Syndrome and Fragile X clinic as well as the Autism Center.
