All respite workers have the Illinois State Board of Education Paraprofessional certificate. Eligibility criteria: birth-21; medical diagnosis of a developmental disability; denial from DHS-DORS program or Milestone (listed below) and cannot be used in conjunction with either program; live Winnebago, Boone or Ogle counties.
