Deaf Counseling Center

Program: Provides Deaf therapy and ASL-based mental health services, delivering telehealth counseling directly in American Sign Language by licensed Deaf therapists. Services include individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and an ASL support line. Care is culturally responsive, language-direct, and designed to eliminate barriers often experienced in traditional therapy settings.
Eligibility: They use the word “Deaf” as an inclusive term for all Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind, DeafPlus, late-deafened, oral Deaf, ASL users, CI users, and other identities. Services are available to Deaf people, hearing family members, interpreters, and anyone in the Deaf community across the United States seeking accessible mental health care. Services all ages in all counties of Ohio.
Cost: Accepts many private insurance plans, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and self-pay. Sliding scale fees and flexible payment plans are available.
