Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO)

Provides resources, information, and services for families with Down Syndrome in Central Ohio. The website has helpful information on Down Syndrome throughout the lifespan. Financial assistance programs include Post-Secondary scholarships for relatives entering a field that benefits people with Down syndrome, Adopt-A-Family holiday assistance, and scholarships for families to attend the Black Down Syndrome Association Family Reunion Conference each year. Community Access Funds provide financial reimbursement to anyone with Down syndrome for funds spent on inclusive activities in the community, for up to $250 per year. They also offer free Hospital Care Packages and New Family Welcome Packages. Resource Groups include Moms, Dads, Little Buddies for expecting and new parents, Connecting Parents of Adults, Aging and Down Syndrome Caregiver Support Group. The DSACO Lending Library to recycles toys, equipment, therapy items, and more for DSACO families.
