Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES) Summer at MIT

A free, six-week residential academic enrichment program for high school juniors with a strong academic record and desire for rigorous STEM/science education. Selected participants complete a semester of college-level academics and receive college admissions counseling and a written evaluation to use for college applications. Students also experience social events and exploration of the Greater Boston area. Underrepresented students are encouraged to apply. Housing, meals and activity costs covered by the program, but families must cover transportation costs. Students can apply online during the fall semester of their junior year in high school.
