York County Children and Youth Services provides intake services to investigate suspected child abuse or neglect, 24 hour emergency services unit for possible child abuse or neglect, Family Support Services, Permanency services to assist in permanent placement for children in need of placement, Independent living services for kids aging out of the system, truancy team, resourcing unit to recruit foster parents, and voluntary family group decision making meeting for immediate extended family, support people an community members involved in care of a child.
