Ohio Hispanic Coalition

Provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services for Latino/Hispanic communities throughout Ohio. The afterschool program offers enrichment at three sites in Columbus for youth with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) in grades K-7. Juventud en Acción is a dynamic youth leadership group for ages 14-18. The Latino Career Development program offers career support for adults authorized to work in the United States.

The Soy Latina program provides comprehensive support for Latina/Latino clients facing challenges related to safety and wellbeing, including domestic violence and sexual assault. Support is available in English and Spanish by trained bilingual advocates. Services include safety planning, court companionship, crisis intervention, referrals to additional services, and more. All services are free. The service area includes Franklin, Union, Fairfield, Lorain, Huron, Fulton, Montgomery, Delaware, Marion, Pickaway, Allen, Cuyahoga, Henry, Putnam, Madison, Licking, Defiance, Lucas, Sandusky, Hamilton, and Wood counties.
