YMCA Community Literacy
YMCA Community Literacy program helps children, teens, or adults gain confidence and increase their reading comprehension and word recognition skills. The program provides one-on-one literacy tutoring to those who are at least one grade level behind in reading.

Read from the Start (RFTS)
Read from the Start (RFTS) is a program offered through The Missouri Humanities Council, which is a family reading program geared to parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5. Not-for-profit organizations working with “at-risk” families may apply to host READ from the START. Fifteen to twenty families participate in each two-session program.
