Franklin County Reentry Advisory Board (FC-RAB)

Provides resources for those transitioning from correctional and rehabilitative institutions back into the community. The website has information on document/identification assistance, job opportunities, public assistance benefits, mental health and addiction programs, clothing assistance, housing/shelter and more. Franklin County First Step provides in-person help the first Friday of every month to help fill in gaps for restored citizens. Community Development for All People (CD4AP)

This church provides important community programs in the Merion Village neighborhood of Columbus, along with worship services. Programs include daily Fresh Markets with free produce for income-eligible individuals, nutrition education, free health and wellness classes, community events, an after-school program at Lincoln Park Elementary, and more.

    Healthy Eating and Living (HEAL) offers free nutrition education and health and wellness classes. The Fresh Market offers free, fresh food and produce to those who meet income guidelines. ID and proof of income is required. Walk-in and drive-thru pick-up is available during market hours.

  • Bikes for All People (B4AP): Provides affordable access to bicycles and cycling-related resources for those who rely on bikes as their sole means of transportation. They offer refurbished bikes for sale, bike parts and gear, and walk-in bike repair services, and community group rides. They accept donated bikes and volunteers. Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles ID R Kids

Ohio ID Cards are available for residents with no minimum age requirement. They are used for identification purposes only in case a child is reported missing or another emergency. Parents of children who have an Ohio ID card can add their contact information to their child’s record. Fees are waived for children under age 17 and individuals with a permanent disability. Visit a deputy registrar location with required documents to apply for a card.
